Nick
Kitsos
Nick Kitsos came to singing
by way of songwriting, and came to songwriting by way of drumming,
and came to drumming by way of, well, drumming. Lots of drumming,
with many artists, including Poi Dog Pondering, Sugar Blue, Liquid
Soul, Corey Harris, David Amram, and for the past eight years, the
BoDeans. Nick recently taught himself to play guitar by writing
songs on it. Terrified of singing but with a desire to have his
original music heard, Nick was dragged to an open mic by his wife,
Laura. The euphoria from having survived the ordeal led to putting
a band together. Named Grasshopper, the group has played around
town and is currently in pre-production for a soon to be released
CD.

Andie
Miles
This is
an exciting night for Andie, since she has been a long time fan
of music at Fitzgerald's nightclub. When she isn't gigging with
Bob Perna and Persistance, at Green Dolphin Street, or standing
idly by as her jobbing band plays the Chicken Dance; she scurries
over to hear the great live country, blues and Cajun music at the
Best Live Music Venue in Chicagoland!! She dared not hope to get
a chance at being on this stage, and yet, here she is! Thanks to
Amy and Becca, for indulging her little fantasies. ( How long does
this set get to last, exactly? She is free until Friday…) Ask about
her new CD while she's up there. She tends to forget to mention
it.
