Performing
at Chicago Singer Spotlight on Wednesday, April 10 at FitzGerald's.
Jeani
Filip
Jeani's
going on her 30th year in the music biz. She's sung on hundreds
of radio & TV commercials. She was a regular @ Rupert's 33 Club
'85-'88. Had an original rock band "Partners in Crime" '79-'81.
She's jobbed with several bands, longest stints with Orchestra 33
Late Night Band, and more recently with Larry Eckerling & his Orchestra.
She's been living in Pardeeville Wisconsin for the last 12 years.
recently left Larry to pursue writing & performing with "Dial 9"
in the Madison WI area. She wants to dedicate her performance tonight
to Lara "who is the reason I was born" and to Todd "who makes me
keep the music honest". Classic rock and Blues are her musical passions
and she's going to show us why tonight. Enjoy! And, as always, "Thanks!"
for listening.

I find it incredibly difficult to write or talk about myself. Maybe
that's the reason I like to observe other people's actions and emotions.
Comparing them to what I would think or feel, whether I would agree
or disagree, is the basis for a musical response. Taking that emotive
reply, shaping it with words and melody, then, forming the entire
process into one completed song, is a wondrous accomplishment that
I would love to share with anyone who will take the time to listen.
Fannie Floros
Fannie
is elated and quite nervous to be performing at Chicago Singer Spotlight
for the first time. Although she has sung back-up, and in her church
choir growing up, this is her first time singing solo. She would
like to thank the band and everyone at Singer Spotlight for this
opportunity. She would especially like to thank Becca Kaufman for
"encouraging" her to take part in Chicago Singer Spotlight and perform
some of her own material. Thanks also go out to her gifted writing
partner Rich Rankin, her ever so talented and good looking vocal
coach, Fred Farran, her wonderful family and amazing friends and
her loving and supportive husband Lou. Peace!
Jen Chada
Jennifer
Chada is thrilled to debut at Fitzgerald’s as part of The Chicago
Singer Spotlight. No stranger to the stage, Chicago audiences and
critics alike have raved over her performances in favorite roles
including Eva Peron in "Evita", Guenevere in "Camelot", and Audrey
in "Little Shop of Horrors". In addition to her day job as #1 Mom
(of 4 yr. old Megan), and a successful career in the on-camera/voiceover
business, she took the cabaret scene by storm last year with her
critically acclaimed one-woman show entitled, "I Want More - Songs
of ‘Real Women’ Doin’ Their Dreams, Deeds and Desires", which played
to full houses at Davenport’s in Chicago. The show prompted After
Dark critic Jeff Rossen to say, "Chada burst forth as a major new
talent." That led to performances at the Chicago Humanities Festival
and recently the First Ever Chicago Cabaret Convention held at Park
West. For upcoming show info please e-mail Jennifer at
