to his credit including singing at Green Dolphin Street, Kingston
Mines, BLUES, ETC., along with performing at many Chicago Neighborhood

Shawn Christopher
Shawn Christopher's musical history can be tracked to Chicago in
1982 when she recorded "It's Too Late", a single for the now defunct
Lare Records. The track was an R & B ballad which earned regional
success thus paving the way for the more dance oriented "Say It
Again". Both songs were recorded at the famed Muscle Shoals Studio
in Alabama. Christopher landed a spot in Chaka Khan's live band
as a back up singer. She toured with Kahn worldwide from 1982-1985.
Since then, Shawn has been featured on recordings and live stage
show with Meli'sa Morgan, Vesta Williams, and Gavin Christopher
(Shawn's brother). One of Shawn's most noted guest appearances was
on Li'l Louis' club classic #1 hit worldwide "French Kiss". When
she's not on the road, she can be found recording at one of the
jingle houses for television and radio advertisements. In 1997,
Shawn joined forces with the already established Chicago-based band
Sonia Da Da. With all of the success and exposure, out of nowhere
came a 1999 remake of her second #1 hit "Don't Lose The Magic",
produced by Erick Kupper. It went #4 on the Billboard. In 2000,
Christopher joined forces with renowned writer, producer, and singer
Gavin Christopher (Shawn's brother) to create an amazing collection
of soulful, heart-stirring songs. In April 2001, Shawn released
her CD single "Touched by Your Love" with a stirring remix from
D.J. Ricky Bradshaw. As she continues to grow and be ever changing,
Ms. Christopher invites you to listen. Check out her website www.shawnchristopher.com
