Charlotte Horton
Making the decision to sing a positive message has been the right choice for Charlotte Horton. Since day one it has opened doors and given her the opportunity to sing with Grammy-award winning Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and several other national gospel artists. One of Charlotte's major accomplishments includes singing with R&B artist R. Kelly on the track, "I Believe I Can Fly". Charlotte will soon embark upon another major project, a collection of songs dedicated to the memory of her mother, Luna Marie Horton. The proceeds will benefit the LMH Scholarship Foundation, named after her mother.

Jen Porter
There's no doubt about it, Jen has been playing music all of her life. With straightforward lyrics that relate universally and music that flows from one song to the next, despite several different styles exhibited, Jen has the ability to captivate any audience. Jen was born and raised in Chicago. After leaving for Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1993 to obtain a BA, Jen soon realized that she wanted more than an education: She wanted to perform. She fronted several bands, singing lead and harmonies, playing piano and guitar in several different venues around southeastern Michigan for close to five years. She also enjoyed a successful solo residency for more than a year. Now, her quest to share her music has brought her home, to Chicago. She currently plays twice a week at piano bars in the city while continually booking additional solo performances. Jen has performed for huge crowds singing the National Anthem at Soldier Field and bringing the house down at Hard Rock Café. Her style is expansive and universal. You can't help but love her powerhouse voice and smooth piano. Jen plays everything from Stevie Nicks and Aretha Franklin to Alanis Morrisette and Fiona Apple, as well as her own original creations. With a voice that reaches out and grabs you and a piano style that's simple and melodic, you won't soon forget this performer. To find out more about Jen go to www.jenporter.com

Kate Milan
Kate is originally from the Detroit area and has been singing professionally in Chicago for the last 11 years. She is currently the lead female vocalist for "The Bill Pollack Orchestra" where she enjoys working with such talented and supportive musicians. Kate's career includes singing for commercials, live industrials and voice over. Her energy, spirit, range and flexibility, as well as a beautiful voice, are immediately apparent in her music. Kate would like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for their continued support.

Striped

Strip away the labels, limits, and categories, and you have an exciting adventure in vocal music. Stripped is comprised of 5 award winning vocalists, each bringing their own unique style and flare to this cutting edge a capella band. Sean Archer and Mariama Torruella are the co-founders of this dynamic new Chicago group. Gayle Bisesi and Leslie Beukelman are not new comers when it comes to music, but they are to Stripped, both joining the group this year (2002). The 5th element, the bass dude, has yet to be discovered. In addition to performing, the members of Stripped have founded Breaking Boundaries, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people find ways to creatively express themselves. Each member brings to the table their years of international performing experience, music education, and spiritual motivation. Through community outreach, clinics, master classes, and multimedia workshops, they hope to show each person the joy that comes from finding and following their own inner voice.
