Performing
at Chicago Singer Spotlight on Wednesday, March 12 at FitzGerald's.
Abby Maxwell
Abby Maxwell studied Musical Theater at Boston University
and San Diego State University. After college, she was part of a
female song and dance group called "Sisters of Soul" that toured
the United States, Canada and Jamaica for five years. She then was
the lead vocalist in a local alternative band, called "Amazing Headgear".
Abby has had the privilege of performing with some of Chicago's
best local talent, such as Shawn Christopher and Sonia Dada. My
driving force is to serve God with my life. My constant source of
joy and support is my husband Dan and kids Hannah & Trevor. With
whom, I have everything I have ever wanted. Everything else is icing
on the cake and a blessing from above.

Southside juxtaposed with the industriousness of the loop..." the
earnestness of Bruce Springsteen combined with Elvis Costello's
floating song structures" says, Ellen Stenard, Chicagogigs.com

Andie
Miles
This is
an exciting night for Andie, since she has been a long time fan
of music at Fitzgerald's nightclub. When she isn't gigging with
Bob Perna and Persistance, at Green Dolphin Street, or standing
idly by as her jobbing band plays the Chicken Dance; she scurries
over to hear the great live country, blues and Cajun music at the
Best Live Music Venue in Chicagoland!! She dared not hope to get
a chance at being on this stage, and yet, here she is! Thanks to
Amy and Becca, for indulging her little fantasies. ( How long does
this set get to last, exactly? She is free until Friday…) Ask about
her new CD while she's up there. She tends to forget to mention
it.
