Abby Maxwell
Abby Maxwell studied Musical Theater at Boston University and San Diego State University. After college, she was part of a female song and dance group called "Sisters of Soul" that toured the United States, Canada and Jamaica for five years. She then was the lead vocalist in a local alternative band, called "Amazing Headgear". Abby has had the privilege of performing with some of Chicago's best local talent, such as Shawn Christopher and Sonia Dada. My driving force is to serve God with my life. My constant source of joy and support is my husband Dan and kids Hannah & Trevor. With whom, I have everything I have ever wanted. Everything else is icing on the cake and a blessing from above.

Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O'Brien, Singer/songwriter grew up in Fort-Worth, Texas. He found his love for playing live and songwriting when he formed his band Dirtyshaker. Over three years, the band gained momentum, playing clubs throughout Texas including Club Dada, Trees in Dallas, and The Black Cat in Austin. Dirtyshaker released three albums, Barefoot, House on the Rocks and Microwave Love. In 2001 Kevin began work on his first Solo CD in Chicago with Ralph Covert of the Bad Examples. Drummer Matt Walker (Smashing Pumpkins), (Filter) and Tom "Pickles" Piekarski (John Prine) as well as many of Chicago's best contributed. Eric Case took over producing. May of 2002, "Flickering Moment" was released.
"gritty, story-telling songs evoke the ruggedness of Chicago's Southside juxtaposed with the industriousness of the loop..." the earnestness of Bruce Springsteen combined with Elvis Costello's floating song structures" says, Ellen Stenard, Chicagogigs.com
Kevin is playing live shows with his band 6packmoses at Chicago clubs such as Martyrs, and the Elbo Room. He also is having success playing solo shows at Borders Books, in the Chicago and Indiana stores. Kevin is excited to be a part of Chicago Singer Spotlight at Fitzgerald's To learn more visit www.6packmoses.com

Andie Miles

This is an exciting night for Andie, since she has been a long time fan of music at Fitzgerald's nightclub. When she isn't gigging with Bob Perna and Persistance, at Green Dolphin Street, or standing idly by as her jobbing band plays the Chicken Dance; she scurries over to hear the great live country, blues and Cajun music at the Best Live Music Venue in Chicagoland!! She dared not hope to get a chance at being on this stage, and yet, here she is! Thanks to Amy and Becca, for indulging her little fantasies. ( How long does this set get to last, exactly? She is free until Friday…) Ask about her new CD while she's up there. She tends to forget to mention it.
