Evelyn Danner
Evelyn
M. Danner has been singing and acting in the Chicago area for more
than 10 years. She makes her home away from home at the Black Ensemble
Theater in Chicago. Ms Danner was recently featured as the young
Ella Fitzgerald in the company's production "Ella (The First Lady
of Song)". She has been featured in such productions as "Unforgettable
(Nat King Cole)", "The Jackie Wilson Story," "The
Other Cinderella," "Great Women in Gospel," "Once
On This Island" and "Spunk." A graduate of Indiana
University in Bloomington, Evelyn studied voice and traveled throughout
the United States with the Singing Hoosiers, the university's premier
show choir. Evelyn would like to thank Singer Spotlight North Shore
for this opportunity.
Heather
Shannon
Heather
Shannon is thrilled to be part of Singer Spotlight North Shore.
She is well known throughout Chicagoland for both musical theater
and Opera- recent performances include "A Christmas Carol,"
at the Goodman Theater and the Soprano Soloist in the"Messiah."
Heather is currently training at the Lyric Opera. Special thanks
to Bobby, Libby and Kathie for all of their support.
John
Mahady
John
first started his musical career while attending high school in
Buffalo, New York. At Northwestern University, John appeared in
numerous productions and was a proud four year cast member of the
famous WAA-MU SHOW. He has performed his one-man cabaret shows in
great Chicago venues such as Toulouse On The Park, Crickett's, Boombala's,
Davenport's and Gentry. In addition, he has self-produced and starred
in 15 shows at The Royal George Cabaret Theatre. In 1998, he released
his debut CD entitled INTIMATE, which is a collection of warm standards,
jazz classics and contemporary tunes. In October of 2001, John debuted
his show, AS LONG AS I'M SINGING...A TRIBUTE TO THE LEGENDARY CROONERS
OF THE 20TH CENTURY, at the Vittum Theatre. He is currently working
on a new show that he will debut at Davenport's in the spring. John
is also the owner and chef of his own banking business named Vincent
Van Dough. He is also currently writing a book on his years as a
garcon at Un Grand Cafe/Mon Ami Gabi, a well known Lincoln Park
French bistro that he has worked at for 13 years. John is very grateful
to have the opportunity to perform with Singer Spotlight North Shore
and wishes to thank Becca, Amy, Libby and Kathie for all their support.
