Tamara Anderson
Tamara Anderson is a seasoned and versatile performer
who is well known for her wicked sense of humor, and her ability
to captivate audiences. Tamara has a colorful musical background
that includes; recording studio work, radio and television voice-overs
(including medical narration), jingles (including McDonalds, a voice
for Mattel Toys, John Deere and FedEx). Tamara is a well known and
respected voice teacher who works with numerous recording and touring
artists, both on major and independent labels. She has since won
numerous awards including, 'The Lake County Fair Talent Show', TCI
Cable's 'Best of Lake County Vocal Performance', 'Karaoke Nitelife
Soloist and Duet Winner', 'STAR 105.5 Soloist Winner' and many other
contests. She has been a featured singer on numerous occasions for
the Chicago based, critically acclaimed and nationally syndicated
'Chick Singer Night'. She has also enjoyed performing for 'Singer
Spotlight', 'The Local Vocal Jazz Brew', and 'The Vocal Venue'.
Tamara was the co-founder of 'What a Voice! Productions, Inc.',
sponsor and originator of 'The Singer's Conference' as well as other
educational vocalist workshops. Tamara has written and produced
her debut Inspirational CD 'Unlimited Love' and was placed in the
top 10 for two prestigious song-writing awards. You can hear her
vocals on several live performances such as Ralph Covert of 'The
Bad Examples'; the Dove Award winning 'The Rex Carroll Band'; and
several independent labels and critically acclaimed artist CDs including,
Kraig Kenning's 'Every Precious Moment' and 'Maktub'; and The Houndz
'Baby Boomers' and many more. Tamara is married to Russell Anderson,
a very talented drummer who is currently performing locally with
Bounty Hunter. Tamara and her husband own Progressive Sound Company
DJ/KJ and Live Sound Services. They have a beautiful and vocally
talented daughter Amber Nicole Anderson who was the first "Chicklett"
to sing at Chick Singer Night at the ripe old age of 12, and has
performed for Singer Spotlight Jr., and Singer Spotlight also. For

Tom
is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, with
a degree in Music Education. He has taught private voice for the
past 20 years. Some of his professional singing experience includes
three years as a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, vocals with
TVK Orchestra, caroling with The Caroling Party and studio work
in Chicago and Indianapolis. He has been a member of the vocal team
at Willow Creek Community Church and is currently the Worship Pastor
at Hawthorn Hills Community Church in Libertyville, IL.

Joni
Larlee welcomes the opportunity to sing once again at Singer Spotlight
with all of the wonderful artists and musicians who produce and
make it all happen. Their dedication, love and support have given
her a deep sense of appreciation and respect for all that they have
accomplished. Joni continues to perform for private functions and
special events where her French Canadian heritage enables her to
incorporate French music into her repertoire of vintage standards.
Her multidimensional talents are expressed creatively through her
singing, writing, and hair design as well as teaching classes in
progressive relaxation and self-awareness. She calls it "Passionation"!
Cindy
Matzl
Newly
wed; (formerly Cindy Beals) has had a long career - getting her
first professional gig at age 15 playing guitar and singing lead
in a local Michigan band. After High School, she headed to the Twin
Cities for several years - performing all styles full time in the
Club Circuit, traveling throughout the Midwest, performing overseas
for the USO, and recording studio sessions. Following her mentors
to LA, she formed her own successful group working with many incredible
musicians and singers. The Midwest drew her back to raise a family.
She has worked with various Orchestra and Band leaders in the Chicago
area.
