Bryan
Frischer has been singing in both amateur and professional shows
all his life, performing publicly for the first when he was seven
years old. Bryan has performed professionally as Sky Masterson in
Guys and Dolls at the Des Moines Dinner Theatre and in several
Broadway reviews. His amateur roles include Joseph in Joseph
and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Curly in Oklahoma,
Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, and chorus roles in West
Side Story, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Threepenney
Opera. He also performed the National Anthem for the Chicago
Bulls. Bryan wishes to thank his family, Lori, Mady, and Zach for
their unwavering and loving support.
Jodi Kaitlyn
My
name is Jodi Kaitlyn, I am an emergency room trauma nurse and vocalist/
song writer. I released my first CD with all original productions
about a year ago with Kraig McCreary as my producer, and hope to
produce another soon! I have sang in multiple pop rock bands, and
performed with a contemporary gospel group. I sing professionally
at wedding ceremonies and love to perform the National Anthem, and
have done so at many events, including for the Chicago Cubs, the
Schaumburg Flyers, and various memorials and opening ceremonies.
I am working on playing the piano and guitar and someday I'll officially
add it to my list of things "I do"! Besides all this music stuff
-I love to exercise, camp, fish, garden, and reading. I never sit
down-AKA energizer bunny!
Julie Volkmann
After a significant career in dramatic and musical theatre
throughout the Midwest, Julie Volkmann now concentrates her creative
energies on being a jazz vocalist going by the name of "Julie V".
Julie V simultaneously trained in bel canto and pop music techniques
with the late Maxine Gruoner and Ed Farran. While making important
strides in theatre, she carved a niche for herself in liturgical
music circles, cabaret setting, storytelling, featured vocalist
spots with big bands along with working at the Very Special Arts
Festivals hosted at Purdue University Calumet for children with
disabilities. One can hear her wend her way through her jazz repertoire
in her CD debut Something New, independently produced by BGV-Star
Productions containing her first published song. Some of Julie's
theatrical credits include the role of Nellie Forbush in "South
Pacific," Heather in "Getting My Act Together and Taking It On the
Road, " Maxine Andrews in Prologue Theatre's adaptation of Studs
Terkl's "The Good War" (which aired on WFMT Radio), Patricia in
"Extremities," Esther in 'To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday," Chris
in 'Rumors," Maggie in Bailiwick Theatre's Jeff Award winning production
of "Son of Fire" and Annie in "Speed of Darkness." Some Chicago-area
spots where jazztress Julie V has sung include Andy's, Cotton Club,
Chambers, Finnegan's Wake, Green Dolphin, the Redfish Voodoo Bar,
Green Mill, The Fireplace Inn, Navy Pier, Gentry I and II, and Smoke
Daddy. In addition to being leader of Julie V and Company, she has
appeared as the featured vocalist with the Tommy McKinney not-so-Big-Band(sic),
John Trimmel's Right of Way Combo, John Jarrett's JazzMasters, The
Charles Morgan Trio, the Betty Dupree Trio and the Bob Johnson Trio.

Denny
Diamond
Close
your eyes, and you'll swear you're at a Neil Diamond concert. The
voice starts soft and slow, like a small earthquake...then soars
into a glorious baritone, extolling the praises of Sweet Caroline,
Cherry, Cherry, and Cracklin' Rosie. But this is not New York's
Neil Diamond-it's Chicago's Denny Diamond, stylist extraordinaire
who delights crowds with his sparkling, high-energy performances.
A favorite at Chicagoland clubs, Denny also appears at private parties
and civic events. He recently played at a party thrown by Jim Prentice,
founder of Shoney's restaurants and last year, he entertained at
a Christmas party in Tennessee...At the Governor's Mansion. Denny
is careful, however, to emphasize that he is not a Neil Diamond
impersonator...but rather a stylist or cover artist "because it's
all about the music". "Neil Diamond and his songs have been my number
one musical influence." Whether belting out the frequently requested
"America" or crooning "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" this Diamond
shines with audiences. So pack up the babies and grab the old ladies
and head for the show. Before you know it, you'll be singing "I'm
a Believer." For more information call 815.943.7120, 615.292.9508
or email information@dennydiamond.com.
