at Singer Spotlight North Shore on Wednesday, June 30 at Pops Highwood.
Bryan Frischer
Bryan Frischer makes his fourth appearance at Singer Spotlight Northshore
and is ecstatic to be invited back. He has starred in numerous musicals,
including "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Oklahoma",
"Bye Bye Birdie", "West Side Story", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Cabaret",
"Guys & Dolls" and "The Threepenny Opera". He sang the National

and two adorable children for their unwavering love and support.
Rachelle
Kole
For
the past 10 years Rachelle has been the vocalist for the Larry Brent
Orchestra. She has performed for private parties throughout the
Chicago area. Rachelle's voice was a familiar feature on the John
Records Landecker show on WLS radio as the Iowa Songbird in the
late 80's. She is currently busy in her own production company,
being the mother of three children, ages 6,4 & 2. She is looking
forward to getting back to a more active singing career.
Margaret
Stewart
This is Margaret's second appearance at Singer Spotlight at Pops
in Highwood and she's thrilled to be back. Margaret started out
her career singing traditional jazz standards but this past year
has also started "singing the blues" after being invited to perform
New Year's Eve at the Trump Casino in Indiana to celebrate the opening
of the Koko Taylor Blues Cafe. This past year she's also performed
at a variety of charitable events including The Greater Chicago
Food Depository Bag for Hunger Event, The Westacres Women's Club's
"Jazz in January" Party, The Solomon Schecter Day School "Chef's
Cook Kosher" and most recently she performed at the Chicago Botanic
Garden's Antique & Garden Fair Preview night. She'll be performing
at Misto's in Chicago on Friday, July 30th. She wants to thank all
of you who came out to support the singers tonight and asks that
you spread the word to your friends. Thanks go to Paula, Nikki for
inviting me back and Becca and Amy for keeping all the Singer Spotlight
venues alive!
Alan
Dawson
Alan
recorded his first song, "How much is that Doggie in the Window"
at age 3 and has been performing ever since. First as a drummer
for local bands in high school then as a drummer/singer for the
Chicago based band the Cryan Shames on their 1968 "Synthesis" album.
He has sung on a multitude of commercial jingles. After taking time
off from performing and touring, to raise 2 sons, he is now back
at work singing, recording and producing; focusing on his favorite
musical styles, ballads and being from Chicago, the blues.
