Gerald McClendon
From the Taste of Chicago to the opening act for the Temptations, from a Cruise ship in Asia to Sydney, Australia, Gerald McClendon has been electrifying audiences with his sensual voice. This singer/songwriter's magnetic stage presence and passionate, soulful style began developing at the tender age of four, as he stood in front of the radio singing to every song. For Gerald, the love of singing, composing and arranging is what makes his spirit soar. He has over one thousand performances to his credit, including singing at the Green Dolphin Street, Back Room, Kingston Mines, BLUES, ETC., along with performing at many Chicago Neighborhood festivals and Chicago Cubs and Bulls games. Just recently, Gerald preformed live on WGN TV morning news "Battle of the Bands", he also is featured singing "Pink" on the Aerosmith Tribute CD, "Sweet Emotions" and has a Review of his CD, "Choose Love" in the "Blues & Soul" magazine where Dean Johnson sums it up by saying, "A CD that requires careful listening and not one that will easily bore you after three listens." Gerald has also been featured singing several commercials for clients such as, Bud Lite, Coca-Cola & Ameritech. Gerald's latest CD "Choose Love," is a mix of original contemporary R&B and is available for purchase by visiting www.geraldmcclendon.com

Dina Joy Byrd
A Chicago native with a BFA in musical theatre, Dina Joy Byrd has over ten years experience performing jazz, blues, classical and show tunes all around the city. She enjoyed a long run as an originating cast member of the highly acclaimed Schoolhouse Rock Live! here and in NYC, and has most recently headlined at Davenport's Piano Bar and Cabaret, FitzGerald's, Mickey Finn's Brewery and Gentry on State. Earlier this month, Dina was honored to perform in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's First Chicago Cabaret Convention at Park West. Currently hard at work on her first CD, Ms. Byrd also looks forward to the debut of her 5th original show at Davenport's this summer.

Tamara Anderson
Tamara Anderson has well over 25 years of performance experience in the music industry. Her career has led her in many directions; nightclub engagements (she started performing as a lead singer and rhythm guitar with a live touring band at the age of 16), recording studio work, charitable benefits, radio and television, voice-overs (including medical narration), and jingles (including McDonalds, Mattel Toys and FedEx). Not only is she a seasoned and versatile performer, but also a well-known and established voice teacher for over a decade. Tamara started competing and winning at the age of nine in talent shows and has won numerous awards including, "The Lake County Fair Talent Show", TCI Cable's "Best of Lake County" and several other contests from Canada to Florida. She has been a featured singer on several occasions for the Chicago based and critically acclaimed "Chick Singer Night", "The Local Vocal Jazz Brew", "The Vocal Venue" and "Singers Spotlight". Tamara has also judged and orchestrated many talent shows (a Variety Show recently shown on AT&T), karaoke contests, several Miss Illinois Beauty Pageants, and has been asked to be a part of several auditions, cable shows (Executive Producer of Chicago Inside Out) workshops and conferences dedicated to the entertainment field. Tamara is currently writing and producing her debut Inspirational CD "Unlimited Love" which is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2002, and is already getting attention from the major record companies. Two of her original songs have been in the finals of several songwriting contests over the past year. She is also putting together a comedy/impersonation show that she plans on touring with. Tamara is married to Russell Anderson, a very talented drummer who is currently touring with The Rex Carroll Band, and they have a beautiful and vocally talented daughter Amber Nicole Anderson who recently performed for both Singer Spotlight Jr. at Fitzgerald's and Singer Spotlight at Pop's Highwood.

Eugenia Elliott
Eugenia has been singing in Chicago for about 8 years now and is very pleased to be singing at Singer Spotlight North Shore. Since the release of her CD called "Where or When" on Southport Records, Eugenia has performed at the Women of Southport Jazz Festival and has been heard at Pops for Champagne, Catch 35 and the Cultural Center in Chicago. She has been happily exploring the world of bluegrass harmonies and was recently heard with the band Charming Axe at the Old Town School Folk and Roots Festival. Eugenia would like to thank her family and friends for their continued support, love and semi-regular butt-kicking, reminding her to get out there and sing!
