Performing

Highwood.
Bryan Frischer
Bryan
Frischer has been singing in both amateur and professional shows
all his life, performing publicly for the first when he was seven
years old. Bryan has performed professionally as Sky Masterson in
Guys and Dolls at the Des Moines Dinner Theatre and in several
Broadway reviews. His amateur roles include Joseph in Joseph
and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Curly in Oklahoma,
Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, and chorus roles in West
Side Story, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Threepenney
Opera. He also performed the National Anthem for the Chicago
Bulls. Bryan wishes to thank his family, Lori, Mady, and Zach for
their unwavering and loving support.
Rebecca Nixon
A
late bloomer, Rebecca Nixon is rockin' into the music scene! She
officially debuted her singing career here at Pop's in our Singer
Spotlight North Shore two years ago! She's very excited to be back.
She gives special thanks to Becca Kaufman and the Bobby Schiff Band
who let her sing briefly at a Christmas party, a few years back,
enabling this wonderful door to open! Also a special thanks to all
who work so hard to make this showcase happen. This past year she
has broadened her musical horizons by singing at other singer spotlight
venues around the Chicago area as well as experiencing professional
recording time in a studio. She has been diligently training under
Larry Brent of the Larry Brent Orchestra and has taken her vocal
studies to the next level. Becoming more comfortable with her style
and singing, Rebecca hopes to bring us some originals next year.
Thank you to all who came out to support not only Rebecca but the
band, Pop's and the Singer spotlight showcase!
