Geneva Norman
Geneva is a relative newcomer to Chicago. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio she sang in church and school choirs and local events from childhood. She came to Chicago to complete an academic program at the Chicago Medical School. While a student there a friend, who'd heard her sing, recommended that she audition at The Old Town School of Folk Music's Blues School. She auditioned and won a spot in the Blues Ensemble. At Old Town her love of the blues music was cultivated and nurtured and she had the privilege of studying under such Chicago Blues greats as Steve Leavitt, Bruce Altice, Steve Hutchins, Steve Doyle and thrice grammy nominated bass man Harlan Terson. Today she is the vocalists for two local bands "The Geneva Convention" and "My Sister" Blues bands.

Bryan Frischer

Bryan Frischer has been singing in both amateur and professional shows all his life, performing publicly for the first when he was seven years old. Bryan has performed professionally as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at the Des Moines Dinner Theatre and in several Broadway reviews. His amateur roles include Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Curly in Oklahoma, Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, and chorus roles in West Side Story, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Threepenney Opera. He also performed the National Anthem for the Chicago Bulls. Bryan wishes to thank his family, Lori, Mady, and Zach for their unwavering and loving support.

Nancie Billingsley

Although she doesn't do it often enough, Nancie loves to sing! She will gladly belt out a tune whenever asked and is thrilled to return for the first anniversary of her Singer Spotlight show with Andy, Bryan and Geneva. After a recent move with her family to her hometown of Traverse City, Michigan in June, the focus on Nancie's music has taken a backseat to all that a move entails. Along with her thriving jewelry design business she hopes to get involved in the local music scene and continue to come back to do Singer Spotlight whenever possible.

Andy Rabensteine

Andy Rabensteine is so happy to be performing alongside these singers with Singer Spotlight again after having an amazing evening last September. Since he saw you all last, Andy has worked on a variety of different projects. He continued singing at Gentry on Halsted throughout 2001 and then in the first few months of 2002 he appeared in Circle Theatre's production of Terrance McNally's THE LISBON TRAVIATA. Shortly after that, Andy began singing full-time on the Spirit of Chicago down at Navy Pier where he currently sings five nights a week. Upcoming projects include starring as Ronald in Boxer Rebellion Theatre's production of Nicky Silver's THE ALTRUISTS in the fall, performing in MRS. CLAUS with Chicago Kids Company and continuing to sing aboard the Spirit of Chicago. Andy wants to thank all of his friends for their constant support, time and love.
