Performing
at Singer Spotlight North Shore on September 25 at Pops Highwood.
Paula
Ramsey
Paula's
singing career has taken her across the United States, Canada and
South America. She has performed along side Sammy Davis Jr., Joan
Rivers, Joe Williams, Chaka Kahn, Henny Youngman and Billy Ocean
to name a few. Paula was a regular in the Chicago nightclub scene
at the Pinnacle Restaurant on Lake Shore Drive and Milt Trenier's
Jazz Club for many years. Her most memorable performances though,
were for Hugh Hefner's Playboy Clubs that booked her across the
country. Although she loves performing 'live', she's quite busy
and happy in the recording studio. You can hear this much in demand
voice-over and singing talent on commercials for Sear's Homelife
Furniture, United Airlines, V-Tech Toys, Proscout and Oakbrook Center.
Other clients include Abbott Labs, True Value and various inter-company
educational tools. Paula is the co-producer of Singer Spotlight
North Shore.

Kelley
Stoddard
Kelley is currently on sabbatical from corporate
america after 14 years. I am working on a cd project in Nashville.
I hope my next job will be in the music industry. I have been singing
for the last 25 years. I am in a vocal jazz ensemble for the last
20 years that performs at Christmas time. We have performed all
over the midwest and in 1993 opened for various artists at the Cleveland
Playhouse including Mel Torme. We have performed in Chicago the
last six years. I have studied with various coaches over the years,
but am partial to my last year and a half with Ed Farran, who I
am dedicating tonight's performance. He was the one that encouraged
me to do what I love and to leave the stress and sometimes non rewarding
climate of the corporate world. I went to Bowling Green State University
where I was involved in the music community. I sang with a jazz
trio for two years in Ohio after college and still continues today
singing at church, a million weddings (haha) and with my quartet.
